A 15-year-old girl from rural India is said to have cried out small stones from her eyes every day.
Chandni, 15 years old in India suffers from a strange disease, for which even the specialist doctors do not have any explanation for this.
According to family members, small stones began to appear on Chandni’s eyes from July 17, 2021. Since then, the girl “cries out” regularly from 10 to 15 ice cubes a day.
To date, a total of more than 70 “stone tears” have been collected in the more than two months since the strange phenomenon appeared.
“Chandni took small stones out of her eyes around 6am, and continued to do so until evening,” her mother said. “For some reason, the stones don’t form overnight.”
In a short video that went viral a few days ago, Chandni can be seen appearing with a strange object, which looks like a small lump on the left eyelid.
After using her hand to squeeze the lump out of her eye, Chandni’s mother held a small pebble in her hand. This is exactly the problem she has been having for the past two months.
Chandni’s family and the villagers of Gadiya Balidaspur, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh – where the girl lives, believe that she is indeed suffering from a strange disease. However, ophthalmologists are adamant that that is not possible.
Dr Awadhesh Kumar, a well-known ophthalmologist, believes that such a phenomenon is not based on a scientific hypothesis. He suspects that Chandni’s family forced the girl to put stones in her eyes to attract public attention.
Dr Neeraj Gupta, director of Durga Eye Hospital, also stressed that such phenomena have no medical basis, and are highly likely to be just a hoax.
Due to poverty, Chandni’s family could not afford to have her tested by medical professionals. So the mystery of the 15-year-old girl’s condition remains unsolved.
There are also some theories that Chandni may actually have a strange illness. In the past, scientists have recorded a number of similar cases when people cried blood, cotton fibers, and even solid crystals.
In most of the cases mentioned above, science has not been able to find a clear explanation.
This is not the first time that an unidentified foreign body has come out of the eye, before that in 2014, a 12-year-old girl named Saadiya Saleh living in Yemen also had a similar case.
There were stones in the baby’s eyes, the doctors did a thorough examination but did not find the baby had any disease, the incident could not be explained by science.
Or like in 2015, Hasnaa Muslumani, 12 years old, living in Fakha, Lebanon also cried out of glass.
In addition, in 2012, 19-year-old Tina Gustini from West Java, Indonesia also shed “diamond tears” that surprised everyone.
This girl will occasionally shed granular “tears” shaped like diamonds. Even when exposed to light they become shiny.
