Why ʙᴜʀᴘ Your Baby:
ʙᴜʀᴘing, also known as winding your baby, is an important part of your Fᴇᴇᴅing routine. This is because when Fᴇᴇᴅing – in addition to the breast milk or baby formula – your little one may also swallow some bubbles of air.

Most babies take in a little too much Fᴇᴇᴅ, and as I said before, they have tiny tummies. Another option is to think about putting your baby over your shoulder, this is a position that a lot of parents tend to use. It can be quite popular, and comfortable for baby.
So once you have baby on your shoulders, then just do the same circular motion and maybe a little bit of patting. Hold baby quite securely and hopefully you will get a little bit of a ʙᴜʀᴘ. And if you don’t, don’t worry. Just go back to Fᴇᴇᴅing baby, but remember to do it at the end of the Fᴇᴇᴅ.
