“The photo collection couldn’t be happier as the baby simultaneously posed for pictures and shed tears, making you burst out laughing.”P1

Cuddling holds profound significance for young children, symbolizing the one-year milestone since their arrival into the world. Consequently, numerous parents eagerly capture this moment through commemorative photos, envisioning a nostalgic treasure trove for their children to cherish when they embark on the journey of reminiscing their delightful childhood memories.

Opting for whimsical themes is a common choice among parents when planning their baby’s birthday photoshoot. However, the success of such endeavors relies heavily on the cooperation of the little ones. If the children lack enthusiasm for posing, the outcome may consist of a series of tearful snapshots, much like the ones depicted here.

Upon sharing a collection of photos commemorating her son’s birthday on social media, Ms. Tran Tam from Ho Chi Minh City expressed her dismay, stating, “This is what happens when we try to capture moments for our baby’s birthday. Do your children behave like this? With a myriad of household responsibilities, I find myself at a loss, feeling utterly helpless.”

Intrigued by the comments, everyone eagerly clicked to view Tran Tam’s photos, and they were immediately taken aback by the hilariously “challenging” photo set. From start to finish, the boy maintained a singular expression—crying. Whether attempting a playful bread-making concept or donning a vibrant headband, the boy’s tears seemed unrelenting.

He cried intermittently, occasionally escalating into loud wails and even mimicking the distress of someone being bullied. Despite the creative efforts to capture endearing moments, the boy’s tears persisted, adding an unexpected comedic touch to the photo series.

The humorous photo set of the boy garnered a multitude of entertaining responses, with numerous individuals leaving amusing comments, acknowledging that these photos would provide a lifetime’s worth of memories. Within just a few hours of sharing, the boy’s photo set amassed an impressive 19 thousand likes, accompanied by 2.5 thousand incredibly cute comments and 3 thousand shares. It became evident that the boy’s tearful expressions had struck a chord with many, resulting in a delightful outpouring of engagement and appreciation.

In a conversation with Ms. Tran Tam, she revealed that her son’s name is Khai Hung, a name derived from his father’s family lineage. Last month, the family organized a photo session to commemorate Khai Hung’s milestone. Ms. Tam reminisced about her daughter’s photoshoot two years prior, where she was remarkably cooperative, sporting a beaming smile throughout. Consequently, Ms. Tam anticipated a similar experience with Khai Hung. However, as soon as the camera was raised, Khai Hung burst into tears, and despite their best efforts, they struggled to console him and capture a serene moment.

I don’t like playing the piano either.

Neither does the guitar.

Expressing their frustration, Ms. Tran Tam sighed, “I feel like nothing is going right. I just want to go home.”

Despite the challenging experience on the first day, both the parents and the photography crew decided to give it another shot the following day. However, to their dismay, Khai Hung’s tears continued to dominate the photo session. Whether it was a stream of short-lived tears or prolonged ones, his crying persisted. Surprisingly, amidst the adorable sight of a crying baby, Tam found herself wanting to preserve every image of Khai Hung’s tearful moments.

Fortunately, during the second shoot, there were instances when the parents managed to coax Khai Hung into brief moments of respite from his tears. These precious moments resulted in a few cherished photographs of Khai Hung flashing heartwarming smiles amid the sea of crying expressions.

Ms. Tam added that normally, her son laughs a lot, always smiles, and is nicknamed “Good Boy.” Only when going to take pictures can he cry “out of tears” like that. Khai Hung now has 8 teeth, weighs 13kg, and is 78cm tall. He can say words like “Bye bye” and “Ba ba.
