Andrea Romero, 34, was notified by doctors of the low probability of getting pregnant after being ᴅɪᴀɢɴᴏsᴇᴅ with ᴇɴᴅᴏᴍᴇᴛʀɪᴏsɪs ᴀɴᴅ ᴀ ʙʟᴏᴄᴋᴇᴅ Fᴀʟʟᴏᴘɪᴀɴ tube five years ago. Next, in September 2017, the couple tried ɪɴᴛʀᴀᴜᴛᴇʀɪɴᴇ ɪɴsᴇᴍɪɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴ (IUI) Fᴇʀᴛɪʟɪᴛʏ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ, but decided to give up after 15 unsuccessful rounds – having spent over $3,000 over the course of two years.

“I was really depressed at one point because it was ʜᴇᴀʀᴛʙʀᴇᴀᴋ, Every month I would do a pregnancy test and it would come back negative and eventually I stopped all the ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ. It was too much on my body and my mind.”

When the mind is at ease, it is no longer important about the pregnancy, then the miracle has come to the couple. They were shocked to discover Andrea had fallen pregnant in January 2020, all beyond what was intended and planned. One night she just took one quick test and it was ᴘᴏsɪᴛɪᴠᴇ

“I couldn’t believe it. We actually ran to the shops and bought five more.” she sai

Two weeks later, the pair had a consultation with a doctor who confirmed the pregnancy and provided the happy couple with the reassurances they needed. It was the best feeling ever and they were just so excited. Her pregnancy under the close and regular monitoring of the obstetrician-gynecologist, the fetus developed normally and was healthy until birth.

They subsequently welcomed 6lbs 13oz ‘miracle’ son, Leonardo to the world 19 months ago at the Kaiser Permanente Moreno Valley Medical Centre in California.
