Mom Give Birth to Triplets After Losing Four Babies

Anna Mitchell, 30, had thought she would never be a mum again after she tragically lost 4 babies.

However, when her mother passed away, she left Mitchell some money in her will, with which she used to pay for IVF treatment.

Surprisingly, she later discovered she was expecting not one, but three children. Her triplets were born, and the new family is getting ready to celebrate their first Christmas together.

“It was life-threatening to me to lose these babies as each time my fallopian tube could have burst,” she said.

“Doctors removed one of my fallopian tubes. It was devastating, it was taking away some of the chance I would have to be a mum.

“I couldn’t believe it when I lost my third child. I’d already had three miscarriages. I was frightened that I would never be a mother.”

The first round of IVF resulted in a miscarriage. Nobody would have blamed them for giving up on their dream family but they persevered and attempted another round.

They were overjoyed when they found out they were expecting after another round of IVF.

“And there it was, a tiny heartbeat pounding away.” I let out a sigh of relief. I’d already lost four babies, and here it was, at long last, a heartbeat in the right place.

“I felt as though mum was looking down on me and helping me along.”

But at 13 weeks pregnant, the sonographer had amazing news for them – there wasn’t just one baby in there, but three.

She said: ‘I nearly fell off the table with shock. Then I started crying all over again. I wasn’t just having one baby, I was having three.

The kids were delivered by caesarian section at the Kingsmill Hospital in Mansfield, one after the other. Summer weighed 3Ib8, and identical twins Joseph and Jacob weighed 3Ib8 and 4Ib5, respectively.

“I’d waited all these years to have a baby, and now three were all coming at once. And it was all thanks to mum, it was her triple gift from heaven for me.”

Did you ever almost lose hope that you might one day become a mother?
